The Anderdrake live in subterranean ice caverns in the White Irons. They have four limbs are six feet tall when fully standing and are fierce, savage creatures with many claws and gnashing jaws.
Anderdrakes are carnivorous predators indigenous to the White Irons. The bipedal beasts stand over six feet tall with white chitinous armor constantly stained by the blood and guts of slaughtered prey. Anderdrakes are armed with jagged yellow teeth and deadly claws. Primarily solitary hunters, Anderdrakes occasionally hunt in packs, preferring to ambush their prey from the camouflage of snow banks and blizzards. Victims are killed and then dragged back to the creatures' lairs, typically large ice caves, where the Anderdrakes devour the severed limbs and loose meat at their leisure. The wild omnivorous caribou and deer form the bulk of an Anderdrake's prey, although they would attack anything they encountered.
While rarely seen away from their remote habitat, Anderdrakes are known to have participated in gladiatorial combat venues across Exsterno. They are highly valued among big-game hunters for the challenge that comes with hunting the creatures, as well as for their pelts, stuffed heads, and other miscellaneous souvenirs that commanded high prices.
