The reign of the Silverforts over the White Irons began with the foundation of the Council of Five, a group dedicated to upholding order in each of the realms. King Valkane gave each of his closest friends lordship over the realms of Exsterno. This included Garret Silverfort—a Human and First Lord of the White Irons.
